Position: Test Engineer III Location: Cupertino, California Duration: Contract Job ID: 171451 Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer III to support regulatory Acoustics Software Requirements Specifications (SRS) testing for the Hearing Test Feature and Hearing Aid Feature. The role involves executing acoustic measurements, tool validation, and improving processes through SOP development, tool development, and documentation. This position requires a strong understanding of acoustics, signal processing, and the ability to work independently to solve technical problems. Responsibilities: Execute acoustic measurements and validate tools for regulatory Acoustics SRS testing. Develop and improve processes through SOP creation, tool development, and documentation. Collaborate with colleagues and maintain prompt communication. Ensure proper use and maintenance of acoustic measurement equipment. Debug and execute scripts in Python and MATLAB for testing purposes. Qualifications: Solid understanding of acoustics and signal processing fundamentals. Proficiency with Soundcheck audio measurement software. Experience executing and debugging scripts in Python and MATLAB. Familiarity with acoustic measurement equipment such as ear simulators, audio interfaces, and signal conditioners. Ability to work independently to solve technical problems. Strong organizational skills, including documentation and communication. Education / Experience: 3 to 5 years of relevant industry experience in acoustic validation and audio QA. Educational background in acoustics, audio engineering, and/or hearing sciences. Schedule Notes: Fully onsite work is required.
